Mission Statement
Mein künstlerischer Ansatz verbindet zwei prägende Stationen meines Lebens: das Studium der Ökonomie und das des zeitgenössischen Tanzes. Als ich meine aktive Tanzkarriere verletzungsbedingt aufgeben musste, fand die Bewegung eine neue Bühne auf der Leinwand. Die Malerei wurde für mich zur konsequenten Fortsetzung des Tanzes – zu einem Arbeiten mit Pinsel und Farbe, das von Rhythmus und Körpergefühl geleitet wird.
Both dance and painting serve as forms of expression for emotions that are difficult to put into words. My works aim to make these feelings visible—directly, powerfully, and liberatingly. Drawing from my own experience in dance, I strive to authentically capture the anatomy and balance of humans and animals in the decisive moment of movement.
My primary focus lies in figurative painting. The spectrum ranges from dynamic dance and sports scenes to character-driven portraits and depictions of nature, extending to socio-critical cycles that incorporate my socio-economic perspective on societal changes. These diverse themes are unified by a clear, unmistakable signature—expressive, intense, and rich in color.
Dance plays the central role—not just as a motif, but as a principle of life. To me, it is universal, connecting, and life-giving. This attitude defines my artistic vision.
